@unusual_whales 40+ hours a week? I’ve just changed jobs to work less hours, going from 72 hours a week to 55 😑

@IanByrneMP Isn’t the birth rate of Brits declining though? So who is living in these houses then? I’ll give you a clue: it’s not Margaret Thatcher….. 😑

@emptywheel Huh? What’s the point of ANYONE, rich or poor, paying taxes? From the audit of USAID alone, we’ve seen it’s like pouring water into a colander 🤷🏼♂️ The easiest way to balance the budget is to stop frivolous spending!

@JamieKent564807 @dude_cuban @Michell33650674 The biggest holders of US debt are foreign governments, the largest being China.

@TristanSnell This is by far and away the weakest argument yet to emerge from the Left on this particular topic 🤣🤣🤣 Fucking hell, I’m embarrassed FOR you 🤣🤣🤣

It’s trying to work ‘for the rest of us’ by auditing departments and eliminating wasteful spending. But you lunatic fuckers are throwing a hissy fit and doing everything you can to make sure the frivolous spending continues unabated. So the question is, are Dems for big corps and billionaires, or the people?

@AmoneyResists @elonmusk @DOGE Isn’t he accountable to like, the President? Or do you mean he should answer to a Democrat or something? 🤣🤣🤣

@Palau_Tam @dwhitley74 @DrWood @atrupar Could you please explain your resistance to auditing government spending without calling people names and shrieking about Elon Musk?

@ideafoam @RyanShead @elonmusk @DOGE @USTreasury Many people are taking it as confirmation of the frivolous waste they have long suspected.

@DeborahMeaden Which part of the epic waste that we’ve seen the last week should incentivise ANYONE to pay taxes??? 🤯

@MrsButters Why is this a bad thing? If anything, this highlights a solvable problem, that being that black women die during child birth at a higher rate. First step is solving a problem is identifying it in the first place.

And meanwhile hard working US citizens are struggling to made ends meet while being taxed into oblivion so their tax dollars can be pissed away on utter nonsense around the world. How about cutting wasteful government spending and maybe reducing the tax burden on those people? Why does that sound so terrible to you?

Yes it does. But you are completely ignoring the bad shit it’s funded. Like destabilising Ukraine, like funding the Wuhan Institute of Virology, like providing $10 million dollars worth of food to Al Nusra. Is your position on this that we can either have it all (including the bad), or nothing? Why can we not cut out the bad shit and retain the good bits? While we are at it, why is everyone on the Left pretending the bad bits don’t even exist?
