@caddyshack11 Got beaten by a better horse to me eyes but yes he was also beaten by a better ride. LH is a hold up horse as I expect you know already so he has to be played right but Master Chewy is a strong stayer on soft too & few better at the close for strength than Sam.

@frickstips Just thing this was much deeper race than GF he won (31k that race compared to 84k here). Much better horses & frankly no one was beating that mare. But every single one of those horses was trying.

@steeplechasing @WarwickRaces But I'd say he's raced in some decent handicaps there (class 1s etc) & isn't the force of old; hence veterans company today. As I said, wider argument re yard, "trying" I'd agree with, Joe.
