@HappyCanadian55 Brock is already an NYI HoFer and on some top ten lists. That other stuff like being top 5, without championships, is nice but not much tbh

@AFootballFriend Which is why I’ve said I’d trade Brock and get younger but I may be in the minority, especially as the excitement finally arrived these last few weeks

You sound like a great guy and I appreciate you standing up for these individuals. You also have pivoted from the subject. I don’t question these are good people producing good content enjoyed by many. All I’m talking about is the many articles of trade rumors over the last year-plus — some names I cited earlier — and as of now the batting average is .000. When they hit, I’ll welcome praising and crediting them. And if it’s Elias P, I’ll gladly admit I was wrong. Let’s see. Could happen.

That’s all fair, Dangle $ Den. Know we’re unlikely to agree on this subject but let’s agree to this. Just OTOH of links I’ve been sent my friends in the last year asking me what’s up about this article about E Pettersson, Kyrou, Kaprizov, Tatar, Ehlers and others I can’t remember, I promise you — and it ain’t much, but it’s all I can do — but if an NYI reporter NOT from Newsday, Athletic and the Post hits on one of his or her rumor articles, I’ll do my best to properly praise and shout to the mountaintops that they earned the credit for breaking it.
