@BadreNicolas @HenryRunamucker @atomicaceso If you want to ignore NICE guidelines and the Maudsley De-prescribing guidelines, sure it’s not necessary. Although sticking to this could prevent withdrawal akathisia, psychosis & suicide.

@jill_d35 @DrCarlHindy @JointOps619 @JDaviesPhD This is constantly how it feels. I know you got harmed and made suicidal but don’t put anyone off in case it helps. Instead of shit, I don’t think we should be prescribing that.

@DrCarlHindy @pjivers I disagree with this. Negative stories are under told. Many become too sick to say anything or lose their life. This is also recorded as a suicide from MH not drug injury. For many the experience was so bad, if they recover, they never want to say the word ‘antidepressant’ again

@DrCarlHindy @benzosarebad @JointOps619 @JDaviesPhD From a person that has experience both. Akathisia is not with the risk.

@DrCarlHindy What you’ve done here, is not nice. I have akathisia from sertaline and try to warn others. It’s been hell coming off that drug. I have learnt the hard way that many hundreds of thousands of people have experienced the same with no help from doctors but defensive denial.

@DrCarlHindy @JointOps619 @JDaviesPhD The link was for the other person as early stages of drug ‘treatment’ can be high risk stages. In the stories the families were unaware of the prescription and left clueless as to why they had suddenly taken thier life. Blackbox warnings and no informed consent are unethical.

@judeinlondon This is not misinformation. Do your research before attacking a med harmed individual. He shares the experience for change. They come with well documented black box warnings for suicide plus much more. If you need help with your research I would be much obliged to fill you in.

@GrantHBrennerMD When you have a broken leg, you don’t sit and wait for it to heal. You apply gentle pressure like Physiotherapy & you build on it with time. There isn’t a ‘wonder drug’ for this. Similarly, there isn’t a ‘wonder drug’ for depression however AD’s can cause akathisia & suicide.
