There does appear to be new momentum in China opening its market to African agricultural imports. Beginning in October, Botswana beef will begin to appear on store shelves. Earlier this year Namibia became the first African country to export beef to China.

#Zimbabwe 's new #Chinese -financed parliament building is rapidly taking shape Mount Hampden, about 18km northwest of Harare. The $140 million spent is a grant (aka "a gift") so the Zimbabwean government is not on the hook for any of the construction cost.
