I don’t want to be an asshole but will never understand how people look at this art style and say “so cute.” It’s not even an identity politics thing. This specific style constantly used in Twitter redesigns is so over detailed and creepy looking.

I’m not gonna lie, the Villagers could’ve looked FAR worse than they do here. Minecraft in live action was kinda doomed from the start visually but for what it’s worth, this is the best result within the doom state.

This is genuinely one of the worst retcons in anything ever. I love Doom Eternal but its redirection of Samual Hayden is awful.
