Tonight from 6 pm to 9 pm there will be two helicopters from the Atlantic Air One Unit landing at Alstede Farms on Route 24. Members of the Chester Volunteer Fire Company will be training on best practices for set up and scene safety of emergency landing zones.

Local Residents: Just a reminder that at the "Crossroads Intersection" traffic on Oakdale and Rt. 24 have opposing Green signals, just like Main St and North Rd. When making a left turn pay attention for oncoming traffic when you have a Green signal without the Green arrow.

We are aware that large groups of residents who previously had their power restored have just lost it. This is temporary and power should be back on within a couple of hours. Repairs are being made to a circuit.

Construction Alert: The NJDOT Contractor, Asphalt Paving Systems was slated to begin milling and paving in Chester earlier this week and will hopefully start soon. Expect nightly lane closures from Furnace Road to Route 80 on Route 206 during the project.
