What is your favorite card that has LGBTQ+ representation? It is a hard pick for me but I think my favorite is one of the 1st Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis. The art and Flavor text tell such a rich story without saying almost anything.

Another end to such a big part of our lives; today Beezy moved out with Mia to Rhode Island and the old NN studio is officially gone. I am feeling really emotional to see him and the studio gone, but I’m also happy we can both go our separate ways and still be as close as ever.

Let's do a fun thread! What is a card you feel is criminally underplayed in commander? For me it is Vona's Hunger it is only 1% decks on EDHrec and I have never seen it in the wild! I love it in decks like Glissa, the Traitor, Negan, the Cold-Blooded and Kamber, the Plunderer!

The fair market value of the Commander Masters product recieved is ~$1300. and that is just one sets worth!
This could leave creators needing to pay hundreds in taxes!

Overall I think I fell so deeply in love with magic because of my friendship with Beezy and our channel that we built from the ground up. Since I have moved on from NN magic just, as the kids say, “doesn’t hit the same”. I’ll still continue enjoying the game as a fan 2/5

There is a subset of MTG players that seem to have the mindset of just be happy with what you get and be quiet. I will say most of the community has been loud about the price of CMM but not everyone. When shit is bad you call it out! Don't just be served shit and be happy!

If The One Ring is good enough to be a staple of EDH which, I feel it is, then it may change the way you pick your removal. Exile was already better than destroy but if you can expect the card at a high percentage of tables the exile based artifact removal becomes a necessity.

One is magic changes something major to try and make the IP actually exciting and fun but that seems unlikely as they have had 30 years to do that and failed. The other is that it becomes a game that is a HUB for other IPs. I think this is very possible. 5/8

The only magic sets that seems to match the hype of the cross over stuff were War of the Spark and All Will be One which felt like crossovers within magic itself. So it feels like there are 2 paths going forward… 4/8

It’s important to make a distinction between the Wotc’s ambassador program and the ambassadors themselves. The individual groups and people who are ambassadors are 100% absolutely doing nothing wrong by being in the program, even if the program itself is problematic.

I will not be getting any commander masters stuff, sadly. I simply cannot afford it. Not even the precons. So, I apologize if you will miss out on the normal content (unboxing, sealed pods, precon pods, and deckbuilding new sets) for a while. I just can’t budget for it.
