Anthony Bridgerton as a character is not one with humor. He is one with responsibilities, title, pent up emotions, mistakes and void. And Johnny did perfect justice to it. You can see his sense of humor in S3 when he is finally married to his love. It depends from show to show
Not to hijack the thread but having watched Wicked, it's incredible how Bridgerton did Jonathan Bailey dirty. He can play mischievously funny and charming! And they made him a humorless prig.
