@LonelyGoomba I actually find them weak, the story lacks stakes and the new pokemon were few and many of them weak. While I can praise the technical achievments, It seems like they did not know where to go with the franchise at that point.

@BringBackBanjoK I feel this redesign might be exclusive for the Mario spinoffs/Mario Kart, or maybe they have A DK Game in development on this style (the same way as how the poultergust 3000 was show first in Smash that on LM3.
