This is starting to be a pattern. A genuine Aux lapel sells for a lot then a fake appears. Clearly a fake (too big & not the crescent attachment on the back) but the bidding is already happening & will go up. Someone thinks they’re getting a bargain. They’re not. @WeHaveWaysPod

My youngest was asked to write a piece on ‘staying safe’. She could have chosen anything but went for the Home Guard during the SWW & added some Aux related bits too! I blame @WeHaveWaysPod - def not my fault… #afflicted

@SOE_Spirit @WeHaveWaysPod @chatabix1 Aux Units only operated (mainly) in coastal counties as they were very much seen as an anti invasion force. Nothing in Cumberland and Westmorland as far as we know (altho HG guerrillas and Section VII may have operated in those counties)!
