@julianorobertrj Do you deny his obsession with Spiritualism, seances, etc? He himself confesses that he would've been burned as a heretic in former times.

I'm very serious in this regard. Can anyone tell me where my punch line was, where my troll was? My argument is rooted in the facts of the matter nothing more or less.

@redeemed_zoomer Wyclif went heavy on "the law of God" over the "traditions of men" in his pamphlet "Leaven of the Pharisees." Protestants needs to circle back to that battle. Eck was RIGHT when he told Luther that he must embrace the 7th day Sabbath to be consistent with Sola Scriptura.

I think 2 Peter, Jude, and 3rd John, were doubted by some in the early church because they warn of "certain" sly heresiarchs who already "crept in" the church and were gaining "preeminence" (like Diotrophes). Those compromised circles had to exalt their Tradition over Scripture.

@m95548451 @MrCasey62 It's quite clear Rome revolted from truly orthodox Apostolic Judaism with the first Proto-pope, Diotrophes.

@MrCasey62 Peter himself interpreted revelation falsely. True interpretation always leads to the flesh being condemned by the law and the Spirit binding men to dutifully obey the Law (but not "Traditions of the elders").

@riecker Confession doesn't have to be made to a priest. It says "one to another" not "to a priest."

@ByJimbob This is precisely what the Talmudists say. I've literally asked little Jewish boys in Chicago if they can understand Scripture without filtering it through their Patristic Traditions. They said, "You might think you can but you can't."

@josh_seiter Sodomites were never truly conservative. True conservatives are conservative economically AND SOCIALLY. You are a complete Leftist infiltrator where it matters most.

@MrCasey62 215AD? Paul said "the mystery of lawlessness is already at work" (2 Thess.2:7) in his day.

@ByJimbob @farmingandJesus @ByJimbob These are just different "infallible oral Traditions" that contradict yours... just like the Jews, Rome, and Byzantium have "infallible" mutually exclusive "oral Traditions."
