@DjRichC1983 Interesting! Do you recap the structural theories in that 7 weeks too or is it purely social action theories? Do you cover the debates too so is sociology a science? The relationship between social policy and sociology? In the 7 weeks or is that separate?

@MissCatnach I teach it at the start of year 12 too, (we don't AS either) more just the theory and debates side of the course! Just thinking about shifting the planning and playing with the course order

@Kirst_Johnson @HecticTeacher Honestly if @HecticTeacher is on the case that's all they will need! That's the third person I know who's starting the media topic! I'm a die hard beliefs person but it's sounding more interesting from the little I've heard of it!

@SchoolsWeek @educationgovuk I would *love* to see someone come and look at my lovely over subscribed school that holds way too many pupils - classes of 30+ are now the norm in the state sector! I don't know what they realistically hope to achieve... What a complete waste of time and money!

So sad to see the state of what our education system had become - students wearing coats, teachers too nervous to put on the lights, heating not going on and no additional funding given 😔 hopefully the message gets through that there's nothing else we can cut!

Always love this activity - this time ig was Year 12 who complered their first sociological dinner party lesson! This one looking at social class achievement! @MrsScottHGSC the students still love it!
