This is such an awesome feature. Going to be massively popular for e-commerce customers to handle checkout flows, which in todays world rarely fit in to funnels, since checkouts are almost never one standard set of steps for everyone!

@ericmatisoff @ryanlevander @SimoAhava If you consider yourself a mid-market business, you can certainly make a case for Customer Journey Analytics. I've even got a few customers using both paid versions (CJA + GA4), since they do very different things!

Google will be removing Google Signals as a reporting identity early next year. This is excellent news, as this feature caused significant reporting problems and confusion.

Important to note that you can still easily misuse traffic source dimensions in explorations, so you still need to pay close attention to scopes. For a refresher:

@cardsfreak6 @brie_e_anderson One possibility is that the users metric in that report is 'active users', it is not 'total users'. The User metrics in GA4 can be incredibly confusing: as GA4 isn't great at making it clear which users metric is used.

The attribution deprecation in GA4 is rolling out. Data-driven and last-click are the only attribution methods available in the model comparison tool. First-click is still an option, but it lives in a completely separate place.

Important end-of-life updates for GA360 customers still using Universal Analytics. In January, some reporting features will disappear. In March, you will no longer be able to export audience or conversions to Google Ads in Europe. Read more:
