@FarmerGuyDan @CatholicCoachP @riecker I was actually referring to how the entire book was compiled and by whom. It was the Catholic Church. The council of Rome in 382AD. And then it did not lose the apocrypha as you say until the Protestant reformation. If you’re not Catholic, why believe in the Bible we compiled?

@FarmerGuyDan @farmingandJesus @riecker But where is the Bible from? Like who decided to put the specific book of the Bible in there? And which ones didn’t make the cut even though they were written by people who were guided by the Holy Ghost?

@farmingandJesus @FarmerGuyDan @riecker The One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. That’s what bus Catholics believe. Anyone who denies that is not following Church teachings.

@LynHaye72192347 @HippieReligious I never said there was no purpose. I did say that if you have a valid reason to use it, which isn’t based off just not wanting to be open to life at that moment, then it’s better to totally abstain.

@emmanuelsmithx @HippieReligious I’m aware of church teachings. Believing Humanae Vitae is not a matter of faith. And it’s not a doctrine of the faith. Maybe you should talk to your priest. I merely have examples of the reason why not to use NFP. There are moral defects if you use it for the wrong reason.

@emmanuelsmithx @HippieReligious Also Humanae Vitae is not infallible so don’t make it seem like I have disobeyed The Church by holding my personal beliefs. That’s the real issue here. Who is the one being uncharitable in this conversation? Certainly not myself by speaking truth.

@LynHaye72192347 @HippieReligious I’m well aware of that. We are about to have our 8th. Like I said, if it’s important enough to not get pregnant, it’s important enough to abstain completely until the issue is resolved. I’m speaking to the intent of NFP, not the practice or method.

@emmanuelsmithx @HippieReligious If it is so important that you don’t want to be open to life, then it id important enough to refrain completely from the marital debt other than to avoid mortal sin.

@LynHaye72192347 @HippieReligious That’s not what I am saying. Neither of those situations are in direct opposition to the primary purpose of marriage.

@DennisMJordan @HippieReligious Shouldn’t healthcare professionals be more than willing to educate the people they come in contact with. So I’m asking you to educate me, yet you refuse. Why is that?

@LynHaye72192347 @HippieReligious What is the primary purpose of sex inside a marriage? If your intention is to avoid the primary function of something while gaining secondary or tertiary benefits, then any attempt to circumvent that would be against nature.

@DennisMJordan @HippieReligious You made a statement. I’m asking you to follow up your statement so I can understand what you are referring to. That’s how debating goes. If you’re not willing to it’s because either you’re lying, or you’re wrong. Once again, what medical indications require contraception?

@emmanuelsmithx @HippieReligious Yeah he also kissed the Quran, so it’s not like he couldn’t be wrong or behave in a wrong manner. Or even write something down incorrectly. If intent is to control, then the method is from that intent, therefore is also control.
