Species Spotlight🔍✨ #Chromodoris, a vibrant genus of sea slugs, inhabits tropical and subtropical waters of the Indian Ocean. They feed on sponges, using extracted compounds for chemical defenses, and are simultaneous hermaphrodites. #CCT🐢

Whales play a vital role in fighting #climatechange by storing carbon in their bodies, increasing nutrient levels in the ocean, esp. iron and nitrogen 🐳 So restoring #whale populations could sequester a huge amount of carbon from our atmosphere! ⬇️ #CCT🐢
