I refuse to believe that 1500+ kids made a “bad” decision or were “lied” to by college coaches. Some yes but 1500+, no way. I do believe that a lot of these kids for the first time got to school and heard the TRUTH and ran because they had to actually work and compete!!!

It’s time to stop asking parents to work the clock or the book at these tournaments. If they paying 20-25 a day to support your event, the least you can do is allow them the joy of watching and cheering on their teams without working….

Playing up will do some kids more harm than good. There are a lot of kids who play their correct age and go on to shake Adam Silvers hand. If I’m not mistaken there’s a kid who’s pretty good that plays for Bates Fundamentals that never played up and it’s working just fine..

There are ALOT of independent programs across the country doing it the right way. Skill development takes time. There is no quantum leap. Parents have to learn to trust the process and not get caught up in the hype. Too much too fast isn’t good for anyone…
