We had @sjasavealife in school this morning training all of the Year 10 students basic 1st Aid as part of the #bbcsavealife campaign. The students learnt CPR, how to use a #defib and also what to do if someone is choking. An invaluable session for all.

Adam Horner from @McHaleSports came into speak to our Year 10's who aren't out on placement this morning about his career journey and the growth mindset. Really inspirational talk which has given the learners lots of ideas of how to make their own future journey a success!

Today we had @hayleyhassall from @bbcnewsround speaking to the Year 10 group about her career and how she built the confidence to become a leading journalist. There were lots of fantastic questions from the students who were particularly interested in her undercover work.

This week we have had the @BritishArmy stem liaison team in school running sessions for 120 of our year 9 learners. They were given a number of tasks to crack to find the identity of the "hacker". A really engaging session which was enjoyed by all.
