The surname 'Dee', as derived from the non-patronymic naming conventions of Brythonic cultures (primarily my own, the Welsh) usually refers to black hair - Du, pronounced 'Dee' meaning 'black'
Sometimes it may have referred to the river Dee, but that's conjecture.

Actor, and I did it.
I was a (mainly TV) actor for about 15 years. It was proof that dreams are not reality - I liked 'doing the thing', but everything else one must do 👎
Plus I didn't like how many unsolicited/requests for feet pics I got in the early days of social media...

Urban legends are an amazing phenomenon. One cool one surrounds the painting "Man Proposes, God Disposes" by Sir Edwin Landseer that can be found in Royal Holloway University. The stories are wild, with students too afraid to sit exams near it unless it was covered up.

My Mrs has always been (mildly) salty at me for having done theatre plu film & TV. She was an actress too, and never got her shot on stage. She did, however, absolutely rock every single camera she stood before. Her timing is partly why I fell for her. I've never seen better
