I know this pandemic is frustrating. It’s frustrating that, after two years, we’re not done fighting COVID-19. But over the past few days, Canadians have been shocked – and, frankly, disgusted – by the behaviour displayed by some people protesting in our nation’s capital.
You hate the truth of your narrative of lies.
Just met with a boosted covid recovered neighbour, she is done with all restrictions and is working on a mini-van convoy of moms to take on schools next.
What the heck is happening! Yesterday first confession since 1982 and now my Mom's latest message:
"How do I know which mystery prayer I say during Rosary?"
😳😢😍
God is good.
I pray someday that the Truth of your Baptism means more to you than the deceptions you have formed and espoused. There is always Christ's mercy brother, I pray for you more than I like you, but we can't be perfect 🤣
Please pray that a suffering elderly man in hospital may resist the temptation to consent to euthanasia, and please pray for his family to recognize the sanctity of life!
100 year old gram had a blast at the Communion too! She is still mystified that she's alive to see all these moments!! 😅🥰 her gratitude to God and joy is something else.
I bring my kids to Mass daily,I have no PHD in theology, no formal catechesis, I can't utter a word in Latin and I don't know why the Pope's in Rome, but I figure if I can't show by deed where everything rests, that the Eucharist is worth screaming out the door for each
If you're more attentive to what's (presumably) going on at the Vatican than your parish bulletin odds are you may be missing ample opportunity to impact the Church in positive ways, to be impacted yourself , and to discover Christ moving within it.
Can we make this normal?
My non-Catholic homeroom attended our wedding Liturgy..prior to it I gave them a brief explanation of what occurs at the Mass. When I told them I would eat the Body of Jesus and Drink His Blood, that was enough to peak their interests, what faith!
Marriage thrives not by extravagant gifts but daily martyrdoms--tiny moments of self-donation that manifest into transformative joy for the good of other. Offerings that seem to utter selflessly "I have considered you lovingly not my own comforts".
Pray for those children who will visit their mother at a cemetery today, and for those mothers who wake today grieving the death of their own children.
Mary, Mother of us all, pray for us.
Mary Mother of bereaved mothers, pray for us.
Mark your first waking breath in the morning with the Sign of the Cross. Before your feet hit the floor and you greet the day's duties know this day is given you as a gift.
If you routinely make the Sign of the Cross then your life should be as a billboard of the Christian life. Contemplate this seemingly small gesture, perform it slowly and lovingly, not out of mere routine and rashness--but with sincerity and love. Then show Whose you are.
My non-practicing Catholic mother is telling Eliana she is not coming to Mass this morning and Eliana candidly stated:
"Well at least give us some money for the basket" 🤭😂
I'm going to tell Fr.Jan we should have Eliana in charge of the building fund!
...if you cannot bring yourself to commit to a time of prayer each day, then simplify the offering, and do not neglect it. Begin with trying to say "Good morning Lord" &make the Sign of The Cross. The rest will come, but try and stay committed to this small yet profound thing.
The rosary is never poorly prayed.Even if there's distraction, and every 'Hail Mary" seems to lead you to another thought, concern,or some small thing needing tending, stay course. You need the quiet of this practice& you're walking through all thoughts with the hand of your Mother.
She stands ever with Her Son. Helping to draw and lead the world into His Light. In the darkest hour of the world's anguish it is Mary, Mother, who reaches to grasp our hand and lead us Home.
...people down the street are moving..went to say bye. "In the garage is just garbage left",they said. Tucked away in a corner I saw Her! "Um, wait! Is that the Blessed Mother!?"
"Yes, take her, if you want"
Our Lady of the garage, please pray for us.
I don't know them personally, but the goblin people (they both follow me) are getting married Saturday, sweet people, grew in my heart!!
Let us keep them in prayer.
Daily I find myself in wonder staring at her, discovering something new. Here's a new person, someone who 11 days ago still lived inside of me! What a provision, what a miracle. God is just so amazing.

My husband's gram turns 100 soon, and my mother in-law ordered the cake the other day and the man on the other line was astonished at writing "happy 100th birthday" for the order,"I've never had a cake order like this in my life!!!",he said.
Pray for gram..
(This is her at 99)🥰
