An underrated part of Catholicism is we have nothing to prove. We're just correct about everything.

God cares deeply for these men who are ostensibly trying to develop a relationship with Him. I find it sad that you think first of history and politics and not of the work being done in their souls. But who knows - maybe you’re right and we should just give up because history is too powerful

I think we disagree on who gets to decide what “real conversion” is I would rather take the story at face value and hope they go deeper in their faith Instead of what you and your friends do which is immediately cast doubt and counter signal - which just seems like a miserable way to live, to me
