You're obviously baiting me. But I'll bite. I actually think the Dept of Education does some good, but I do think the way we teach our kids needs to change. The days of forcing them in a box where everyone is forced to learn at the same level is outdated. I try to challenge my kids and support them in learning what they want outside of school while sending them to a private religious school(no government help there), in hopes they thrive beyond any child left behind in the public system. With the world of knowledge at their fingertips, there's no limits to what kids can grow up and become, like there was when we were growing up.
