Agree. And it's surprising how widespread the concern about muscle loss is – not just among physicians, but also among the general public. We need more data and follow-up. So far, there's no evidence suggesting it's an actual threat.
@KevinH_PhD @CatConte_MD The CDN obesity CPGs begin with a focus on recognizing the cost and methods of challenging weight bias directed at individuals living with obesity. Hypothesis: AOMs also have bias and stigma directed at them, dire warnings of loss of skeletal muscle being one example. Thoughts?
