The death has taken place of Danny Linehan of Cecilstown .Danny played on the 1952 Castle team that won the County Junior title.His grandson, Danny won an All Ireland minor football medal this year with Cork.On behalf of the club we'd like to extend our sympathies with his family

The death has taken place of Seamus O Connell of Balyclough.Seamus came from a legendary Castlemagner GAA family and won 3 County Junior titles with Castle in 1947,52 and 54.The club extends our sympathies to Julia May & family and brother Gerard & extended family.
