I will die on the hill that this show was charming. It just came out during the era of Steven Universe, Adventure Time, and Regular Show (all who at this time started getting more storyline driven). This was set up to flop when compared to those shows 😭😭

Seeing all the drama on

is very disappointing when finding out what it’s about. As someone who is Hispanic, the stereotypes of Rosa are in fact there and and fully valid to say, especially when they’re pointed out within the episodes themselves from other characters.

For me it’s when realistically a character should have been in trouble but wasn’t. I take Heather not getting eliminated in the final 6 on TDI as an example. No immunity, everyone doesn’t like her, yet she stayed cause Geoff was “nice”.

I see this but there are moments of characters growing up so that’s where the confusion is. Duncan was said to be old enough to go to prison instead of juvy for example. So was Heather not aged up but Duncan was? It may be looking too hard into it but gotta admit, bit confusing.
