Plastic waste gets a second life with @thegravitywave, founded by #CWI24 fellow Amaia Rodríguez Sola. Since 2020, Gravity Wave has collected more than 700,000 kilograms of plastic and fishing nets, thanks to its network of 7,000 fishermen in 150 ports.

Our program is built on four complementary pillars: awards, fellowship, community, and insights. Our mission is to shine a light on women impact entrepreneurs and provide them with the necessary financial, social, and human capital support to grow their businesses and impact.

We are overjoyed to witness this collaboration between RedClub x Cartier ambassador for Japan, Toto Deng, and #CWI23 fellow, Mint Lim. Together they brought the School of Concepts to Japan for the very first time, with a two-day educational program in May.

Worldwide, roughly 1.6 billion women and girls cannot afford access to safe period care. @asancup developed an easy-to-insert reusable menstrual cup to address period poverty and reduce solid waste pollution in India. Asan was founded by #CWI24 Fellow, Ira Guha.
