That’s a wrap folks! Finished grad school with a 4.0 gpa AND an OVC championship. 2 degrees with a ring to go with it and momma didn’t have to pay for any of it. God is too good to me. Can’t wait to see what’s next 🙌🏾

On March 17th my mom suffered a stroke. Today, December 9th, the doctor released her to go home. She can stand, take steps, & talk. It’s been a tough year but God has been faithful. Thank you Lord and big thank u to my coaches, pastor, & close circle for being there for me❤️

A year and a half ago my mom suffered a stroke. Fast forward to now, she has her own apartment, she gets around by herself, cooks for herself, and more. This is after being in a nursing home and having little to no therapy.
Moral of the story: God is good 🙌🏾

It’s been a little over 2 months since my momma had her stroke. She probably had a solid month of therapy the first month & her progress since is just beautiful to witness. Shes in a nursing home gettin little to/no therapy bc of her insurance but there’s nothin God can’t do.🙌🏾

As days go by, I realize how blessed I am. I miss my mom so much and the pain is still heavy on my chest.
She was able to see me graduate college, win a championship, sign a professional contract, and grow into the woman I am today.
Even through pain, we are blessed.🖤

Losing both parents basically within a year apart really changes your perspective on a lot of things. I appreciated both of my parents regardless of their own choices.
