Each Yap is worth $28.83 based on Kaito NFT’s value. Is it undervaluated? What about the NFTs? Let me break it down. The value of Yaps in the Kaito ecosystem can be estimated using simple math tied to the voting system. As Kaito officially stated, the voting power in the Yapper Launchpad will be split 50/50 between Yaps and Genesis NFTs. Let’s look at the numbers: 1/ Total Yaps in circulation: Since Yaps started being distributed on December 11, 2024, and 25,000 Yaps are generated daily, there are approximately 1,225,000 Yaps in circulation today. 2/ NFT voting power: With only 1,500 Genesis NFTs in existence, each NFT holds the same voting power as 816.67 Yaps. 3/ Market value of Kaito NFT’s: Each NFT is currently valued at $23,540 (7.38 ETH). Dividing this by 816.67 Yaps gives us the value of 1 Yap: $28.83. 4/ If you believe $28.16/yap is undervalued and it should be valued at $50, the Kaito NFT would be worth $40,833 (12.8 ETH). For example: Could inactive users lose their Yaps over time through a progressive burning mechanism? It might be an effective way to reduce inflation and reward active participants. While Yaps are currently worth $28.83, their value is likely to decrease as more Yaps flood the system. However, the value of Genesis NFTs has dropped in the past 48 hours.
