After I graduated, my HS hired a new assistant coach. One of the moves he introduced was this and no one in GA had really seen it at the time. We turned a lot of people with this move. Hope it works for you.

Love this physical challenge idea from the Citadel wrestling strength coach. Start by everyone hangs from pull up bar, every 30 seconds do 1 pull up and return to hanging. Who will be the last one to hang on? Tag a teammate you would compete against.

Today was a sad day, as we heard of the passing of Hoke County High School Head Wrestling coach Vernon Walworth. He impacted many lives, and was a big advocate for wrestling, especially women’s wrestling in NC starting one of the first women’s program.

Sara McMann, who wrestled for McDowell High School, is being inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in Stillwater, OK. Sara was a Silver Medalist in the 2004 Olympics. Sara was also a multiple World medalist. You were truly one of the trailblazers in our sport!!!
