Just out from #Gaza. The levels of destruction are shocking. But amidst the uncertainty, there is now activity and purpose. People are beginning to patch up their lives, putting tents on damaged houses, cleaning rubble, setting up small street corner businesses.

Since the ceasefire, @WFP facilitated over 4000 trucks. We provide hot meals, food packages & support over 20 bakeries, scaling up in the north as people return. The resilience of Gazans is unique. Our assistance must increasingly focus on supporting them to rebuild their lives.
