Seeing a grown man screaming because they can pick pronouns in a character customiser is hilarious, and the response of people being like 'I thought I was hypersensitive, nice to know I'm not'
Bro, he SCREAM RANTS about a customisation choice, can't get more sensitive😂
We are delighted to announce we have entered a three-year partnership with the
@ESWCgg
, bringing our esteemed awards ceremony to the Esports World Cup, the world's largest gaming festival.
The Esports Awards will come to you live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on August 24th.
Another gamer full-sending into spreading bigotry, openly using and encouraging slurs against a community who have no interest with him at all. Just to generate attention at the cost of hate.
He should probably should be focusing on his nonce best friends, mind.
Now there has been a moment, I'll take one to say thank you to the voices in the community, large and small, determined to be heard. You'll move mountains for a good cause and I truly feel loved.
I'm sorry I don't have the words yet, they'll come.
🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
ps maybe the first openly trans caster to cast aT1 esports major 🏳️🌈
I was insanely nervous going into this one as Em, even as a shorthand. You all gave me the confidence to be me, support from prod/fans❤
I am super excited to grow more into an Emily.
I love you all 🏳️⚧️
I don't intend to interact with Kanine or his tweet, the community is doing enough to shut him down and I don't care for it. Report, ratio and move on. We all know he's a cunt anyway.
But I will be renaming chalet balc & making sure my colleagues do the same. He can disappear✌
Man your twitter feed is bragging about hitting champ on console and I'm being paid to fly to the biggest tournaments the game has to offer, you ain't ever have to worry about being in the same room as me
I've felt a lot of pressure since I found out I was on the final, not only to deliver a cast worth it but to do it justice for my whole community.
Working for years towards this, breaking that barrier has been a dream realised today. Thank you everyone for the support & trust.
I know not everyone agrees and always respect the individual if they don't want any compliments paid to their pre-transition self.
But I enjoy being ultimate thirst bait for bisexuals, so thank you for the comments on both my existences 😅
I'm proud our community got loud, I'm happy to see where we have ended here.
I hope one day to see human rights supported in the region, without it having to be backed by international companies & pressure. The UAE has changed tons in the past 20yrs. Hopefully more in future. 🏳️🌈
Kix showed me so much kindness. He was the talent & joy & love of the game that inspired me to keep striving. He is Siege to me, and to many many others.
I cannot express how welcomed he made me feel as a community member when we first interacted, all the way to working together
This support has been beyond words. My phone and I am struggling to keep up so I am sorry if I miss your messages but I am trying to read them all and respond.
Thank you, I love and appreciate you all <3
They can live pathetic all their life, I'm on stage at Six Invitational getting paid to watch, cast and analyse the best Siege in the world.
They're malding because I'm in a dress lolololololo
What I want to write is much longer than twitter can handle, & I don't want to do it on a travel day where I've been on no sleep and 10hours of planes and cars.
My family live in the UAE, I'm familiar with it more than most. Trust me when I say I know this isn't a place to host.
.
@INTERRO
and Kix's mum have unending strength, and love and they truly helped the community, the fans and friends today.
Crying and laughing at all the stories, jokes and grief in one very emotional stream. Thank you both❤
And with that, I am done for SI 2023.
My third in the books,
My first in Montreal,
Always magical.
Thank you everyone, thank you to my duo in crime
@Hap_R6
, and to everyone for making it happen 💙
📷
@ericananmalay
And that brings my first ever SI experience to a close.
Thank you to everyone from production, the teams and those cheering from home.
Thank you for the opportunity, and the love.
Thank you to my colleagues, in Paris and remote.
To Hap, my boy from Benelux.
To you all <3
Takes like this are frustrating. Be angry at higher ups exploiting a position in a toxic industry, be vocal as we have been.
But Osa is a character by LGBTQ+ folk that we've worked on for close to a year. Why write off Queer folk fighting to bring some honest rep in AAA gaming?
I have the honour of casting the LB final with
@Hap_R6
today!
From losing CL to working the final day of the biggest tournament. I am so massively thankful for the support, the opportunity and the trust put in me. To do it with Hap, who has SHONE at SI, I'm overjoyed <3
Well it's out now! Since Feb Ubi worked with me and some other wonderful trans folk to develop Osa and make sure her story, gear and gadgets reflected well. They went above and beyond to make her a good rep!
Big S/O to
@Akviko
,
@ScriptSlasher
& the others from the team <3
As an openly LGBTQ figure in Siege, I'm over-the-moon at rep in the game. But I've watched my TL tonight & would like to turn my attention to my colleagues, content creators & R6 community.
Your reaction has been nothing short of beautiful, accepting & full of love🏳️🌈♥️ Thank you
Wrote some long thing out on the subreddit about my coming out on broadcast, my journey here, and why my representation matters.
It was a very emotional night and I can't thank you all enough <3
Every now and again transphobic discord from teens in the Siege community comes through on here.
Know that everyone that matters, and the VAST majority of people in the scene, are massively supportive of trans and LGBTQ rights.
Transphobes and bigots aren't welcome, ever.
Got an email scam telling me they'd recorded masturbation through my webcam and to pay up.
But the threat was "What do u suppose, will the religion praise you for ur hobbies? To tell the truth, I have many doubts about it." and buddy, religion has bigger issues with me already.
Sad to be leaving any event, this one more so. A joy and a pleasure to be surrounded by people who just love Siege, and I already miss everyone. Thank you everyone who came up and said hi, or a photo, or a chat. It was beautiful, Montreal.
I don't read twitch chat, I haven't opened a stream for a loooong time and I always try to just ignore everything else around and focus on the show, my work. I'd be lying if there are days I don't feel the weight of it all though. Bigots exist but we keep existing too ✌
As someone who gets death threats just for appearing on screen, and someone who couldn't tell you the last time I didn't have death threats sent to me before an event, I feel it's important here to chime in with how you can help educate, and when you know you can't. (1/5)
Gender Euphoria really took me by surprise. My body going "you need to give me this chemical" for years, and now I have it's like a weight lifted from my chest. I honestly didn't expect it to be a physical reaction of feeling good.
It really shows like, this is the right thing.
It's crazy that all Jess said was she wanted to go to prove that the LGBTQ aren't the monsters they're portrayed as, then her & those from the MENA community who supported her had to delete the tweets because of the hatred thrown at them from some voices from that community.

#TransDayOfVisibility
!!
To those struggling with their identity, know you aren't alone. We find ourselves a focus of a lot of cultural hatred at the minute but against that we can live and lead fulfilling lives, happy and accepting who we are. You can too ❤️🏳️⚧️
Thank you for the kind words about my behind the scenes of SI content.
They went "Hey do you have 10 minutes to do this? Just walk and talk like it's a vlog"
And I went "sure"
Notable things I've signed so far:
- a sock (whilst being worn)
- a clorox bottle
- a box of fried chicken
- Tachanka's Helmet
- a wood etching of Jager
- someone's hand
- two boobs
Thank you for all the kind words about my work.
Honestly it's tough fighting forever. My dream & goal is a final, I'll keep improving & fighting until I'm there.
Against bigotry & the voices that make me feel like I'm not good enough, being reminded I am is a balm for the soul
Happy
#TransAwarenessWeek
!
I'll be putting together a tweet with more informed resources when home, as ways to shed light on the struggle & fight that has reached multiple boiling points over recent times.
But for now to my trans followers, we are here and we are valid ❤🏳️⚧️
Thank you for all the wonderful, powerful & supportive messages after the Major Finals cast, sorry if I am slow to respond. Overwhelmed but truly it means everything. Still sinking in.
First trans woman to cast an esports Major Grand Final, but I know I'm the first of many.🏳️⚧️♥️
Saw my grandparents for the first time since coming out due to covid
Grandad: "Make sure you are taking and sending lots of photos, I'm making a timeline showing your journey because it's important"
Me:
An org owner making up a scenario to be bigoted, then calling an LGBTQ caster a pedophile because they argued back.
Then referencing a famous straight male pedophile who put on shows around kids. The whole 'point' he was trying to make as one against LGBTQ folk/pride. Mad.
