Fun fact your fuel penalty factor is 180% and you’re speed is restricted to 255 kts / M.60 but we were maintaining around 240 kts / M.56

Yesterday’s flight while interesting was also another first for me on the B747 where we flew a basic two-man operation(we are normally 4 or 3 pilots).
All of this happened on “go home day”, we got to the aircraft and upon inspection realized we needed to De-Ice per company OM,

Fun fact: The B747-400 doesn’t have flight deck windows that open up from the inside or out like most other jets for crew egress but there’s a small hole on the upper left side of the flight deck that we can open and in the unlikely event. Hell we even have a pulley system to
