Luka Binniyat (2017 & 2022) A journalist and former Vanguard newspaper correspondent. Binniyat was arrested for allegedly publishing false information about killings in Southern Kaduna. You wanted to shut him up, your government accused him of inciting unrest. He was re-arrested in November 2022 for writing an article that criticized the Kaduna State Government's response to the killing of Christians in Southern Kaduna. 2. Steven Kefas (2019) In 2019, You arrested Steven Kefas for a Facebook post criticizing how you handled insecurity and alleged involvement in the killing of a traditional ruler. 3. Lawal Adamu Usman (Mr. LA) (2017) Your government arrested a prominent member of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Why was he arrested? He was accused of inciting violence against the Kaduna State Government. 😂 4. Martins Thomas & Other Southern Kaduna Leaders (2020) Martins Thomas is a leader from the Christian-dominated Southern Kaduna region. He was accused of inciting violence by calling out El-Rufai’s government over ethnic killings in the region. Several community leaders and youth activists protesting killings in Southern Kaduna were arrested during your tenure as governor, In 2022, university lecturers in Kaduna State were arrested for leading protests against your devilish salary cuts and retrenchment policies. What are some few common or unknown oppressive systems you know off and might wanna share?
I’ve realized that it’s important to free one’s self from oppressive systems as soon as possible. This is not only because of the obvious evil of oppression but because often times the oppressed become oppressors themselves. It takes conscious effort to not a become oppressor.
