Mile markers, especially on roads without interchanges, aren't an especially useful way to help drivers learn where potential trouble spots are. FWIW, this appears to be about five miles north of Newport.
Expect long delays, Jan. 7-8, on US 101 between MP 133-136, while crews repair the road. Flaggers will direct traffic from 9AM to 4PM, reducing the highway to a single lane. Please slow down, pay attention, and watch for crews to help ensure everyone's safety.
