@SaadiaFaruqi We do the pledge, a moment of silence, pause to acknowledge birthdays, then our school pride pledge (based on character traits), and usually something related to the vocabulary word of the week or a math problem depending on the day.

This year is also bittersweet because it’s our last year with Mrs. Magas before she retires (though she’s promised to come back and help). When I started this team 8 years ago I was worried I wouldn’t get anyone to help. How fortunate I was that Mary volunteered to help.

I’ve read The Terrible Two to my class for years and the audible gasps and wide eyes that happen when we get to the end of ch. 14 & then pg 86 never fails to amuse and amaze me. Today was no different. Mac Barnett & Jory John are some of the cleverest people around. @abramskids
