It’s only fitting that the 13th forward and only forward who didn’t score all tournament gets the game winning goal for the gold. Canada doesn’t win G/D/F of the tournament because they didn’t have any superstars, just a super well rounded team that got the job done

USA was up 2-0 and dominating the game 10 minutes in. Then Canada made a clear attempt to get extremely physical with the USA and the entire game changed. The USA had no answer for that and Canada scored 6 unanswered to win 6-2 and advance to the gold medal game against Czechia!

This year was another friendly reminder that the Team Canada brass knows a whole lot more than everyone on twitter does. So many “how do you cut DiPietro???” tweets. Hart+Point were both unreal. Also tons of “no Tippett? The PP will suck now!!” The PP was the best of any team

I don't know what Tourigny has against Tomasino and Mercer, but it's hurting the team. They have been 2/3 of Canada's best forwards without question this tournament so far (Cozens the other one) but both games they've both been bottom 3 in minutes played
