Today I had the honour of joining the formidable Laila Soueif in Downing Street on day 123 of her hunger strike for her son, Alaa Abd El-Fattah, together with Baroness @HelenaKennedyKC and journalist @PeterGreste. Yesterday the United Kingdom government once again called for the immediate release of Alaa, a UK citizen and @englishpen's writer of courage.
