@megbasham So much for "Christ and his Kingdom" not involving politics, or whatever lame excuse they made for their retraction.

@aaron_renn They allowed themselves to be bullied. Also, "Christ and his kingdom" are not unconcerned with the just governance of a land.

@sarahcstock Yeah, but many in their 30's would like to have been married by now. They are not "waiting "on purpose. If they deliberately passed on marriage in their earlier days, though, that was probably poorly done.

@GShaneMorris Yeah, and goaded on by bots, Feds, and foreign actors. (Also note the plausible deniability of Mahler's statement. "Racism" is not a biblical word. Nor does he define it, which permits him to assign it an arcane meaning should he wish to wiggle out of his statement afterwards).

@Cernovich This is true of much Canadian culture, taking it at its worst. The politeness is from the British. But being 'nice' cannot cover up an evil heart in the end. Unflattering comments could be made about American culture, too, however.

@L0m3z And just let men lead society in general (good, competent men, that is).

@GShaneMorris I would hope this trend does not reflect the state of things in the Church. And that Christian women not place undue weight upon a man's economic potential.

RT @jamesrwoodtheo1: Ah, I see we are doing the ordo amoris (order of loves) discourse again. Here is a little primer:

@ostrachan And yet, "Anyone who does not provide for his own household is worse than an unbeliever." And the church was only to provide for widows if they met Paul's criteria. Not so simple as it seems at first blush.

@conservmillen Paul had strict requirements for a widow to be put on the church's widow's list. Resources are finite.

@jaredcwilson It was in my Bible reading plan yesterday. It is clearly told in order to indict a self-righteous person who justified himself and supposed he had eternal life because he kept God's law.

@samueld_james @jake_meador What core doctrines have right-wing exvangelicals rejected? I have seen the statements of the anti-Christian Nieztchian right, but "right exvangelicals" do not embrace these precepts, as far as I can discern. This is not to say there are not sinful attitudes on right.

@Sargon_of_Akkad @Timcast The rest of us in the British Commonwealth are pining for some of that reform. Alas, we languish under our inept rulers.

@elonmusk Appreciated that the provenance of the man is dated to the correct 4004 BC (in Eden, obviously).
