Its the Office of Inspector General (OIG) Inspector General who has been confirmed by the Senate who overlooks the Department of the Treasury that conducts audits, investigations, and reviews. The OIG's work helps the Treasury Department improve its programs and operations, and prevent fraud and abuse. According to the Inspector General Act, the Inspector General serves under the general supervision of the DHS Secretary and has a dual and independent reporting relationship to the Secretary and the Congress. DHS Office of Inspector General investigators have statutory law enforcement authority, including the power to make arrests, execute warrants Do you see a billionaire named Elon Musk and a fictitious department called DOGE in this equation.

The Constitution has never been challenged like this before, there are no loopholes in the Constitution and I think it’s a good idea to finally air this out in the courts that have jurisdiction because everyone needs to understand we have three branches of government For a reason . We don’t have a king that can make law or break laws at wim. 🧐think what it would be like if it was on the other shoe and it was Democrats that we’re doing what Donald Trump and Elon is trying to do, same thing would be happening republicans would be running to file at the courthouse . So it’s best this is settled for good.

@TheChristyGroup @spreadsheeticus @elonmusk Only Congress can change what is happening . At some point conservative Republicans and real libertarian and Democrats will have to come together to make any changes, but it won’t be what’s happening now.

Holding the house and having the vote to pass legislation are two different things . The court battle is about the constitution and you cannot change the constitution if you do that you have to have the votes and it’s a very lengthy process. Donald Trump and Elon Musk do not have the authority to change do away or add to the constitution that’s the job of congress

@elonmusk This is a good example why nobody takes JD Vance serious and Donald Trump talks about you more than a vice president. Not that that’s a good thing but it is what it is.

@elonmusk But you need Democrats to pass any bill any debt ceiling? Anything at all in Congress so while these assholes as you call them are beneath you, you will need them for anything Donald Trump wants to do guess how that’s gonna work out.

The courts will handle this issues but If Congress doesn’t do what they’re supposed to do punishment will come from the voters as pressure builds on Republicans to not do their job and leave it up to the courts to decide Republicans facing backlash from their communities will peal away from the speaker of the house and Donald Trump. There’s only a two vote majority in Congress. Congress already has to deal with democrats to pass anything wait till the budget fight happens you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about and Democrats aren’t in charge of the White House .The government will shut down.

@SeductiveLiquid @Jimchris1958 @elonmusk This has nothing to do with granting immunity. This has to do with the powers of Congress and welds that power and it’s not the president and it’s not Elon Musk.

Do we I would say the whole country does . Republicans who say they want Musk to have “a lot” of influence has fallen substantially to 26 percent. Meanwhile, 43 percent of Republican respondents say they want Musk to have “a little” influence, and 17 percent say they want him to have “none at all,” according to the latest poll from The Economist/YouGov
