@AlexBerenson I am currently involved in a study for autoimmune disease (lupus) and Covid Vaccines. I was 100% willing to accept that my side effects were coincidence, but after seeing my orthopedist & my rheumatologist, they asked me to be part of a study. Now I’m not so sure it’s coincidence

RT @Heminator: A lot of people who were weirdly silent when Joe Biden tried to add a new constitutional amendment with a freaking tweet are…

I’ve been watching clips on YouTube from a station/network (?) called News Nation. It’s where Chris Cuomo ended up. Anyway, they seem to be fairly balanced in their reporting, and Cuomo as well. When he was with CNN, he was 100% in the tank for Democrats. The Hill Rising is another one I watch often who seems pretty fair and balanced as well. Their shows always have a conservative, libertarian and a liberal perspective. I enjoy the discussions and debates. They aren’t hyperbolic or crazy. You get various viewpoints on any given subject. As to the 3 big cable networks, they’re definitely in the tank for one side or another. A huge reason I stopped watching them several years back is because all I was getting from them were hyperbole and exaggeration on whatever topic they were reporting. If you watch just 1 of them for your information, you got stuck in a bubble, and that’s never healthy.

Kamala’s campaign wasn’t exactly grassroots. $2 billion? I think Trump would have won regardless. Kamala’s biggest problem, in my opinion, was that she was tethered to Biden. When she responded to a question on the view about what she would have done differently than Biden with “I can’t really think of anything”, that helped to sink her. Biden was not a good president. He wasn’t available to the press and he was associated with a disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, terrible inflation, massive influx of migrants, and cognitive issues. Whether you personally find these issues valid or not, this was the PERCEPTION for a majority of voters. Anyway, not to sound like Bernie Sanders, but Citizen’s United wasn’t a good decision for our politics.

@kathleea1 Agreed again! I love it when we find common ground. I feel as though our politics have been captured by lobbyists and special interest groups. I think this is why a lot of voters get the sense that government no longer work for us.

On this we certainly agree. For the record, I think part of the reason there hasn’t been proper oversight is that we have too many in government on the take, so to speak. Democrats, republicans, it doesn’t matter. I think the allure or money and power corrupts an awful lot of people. I’m certain there are good people in Congress, but I don’t think it’s a majority. That’s unfortunate. We have a lot of uninformed voters in this country. Perhaps it is hard to be as well informed as one could be because I believe that the majority of our media are in the tank for one party or another, so issues get ignored or over hyped. It’s becoming more difficult to parse good information. Plus, we are a culture easily distracted.

For the record, I’m not a fan of either party or any president disregarding court orders. Even if it’s the side I vote for. I see the courts as a last line of defense (with the exception of activist courts/judges, which do exist). Perhaps the degree is not comparable, I’m not exactly sure yet. But Biden did make clear (and said out loud) that the courts would not stop him. That set a messy precedent imo. Anyway, thanks for your response Max.

Biden literally did ignore a court order and did a workaround on this issue. A lot of tax payers, even liberal voters, did not think we should be holding the bag for others education. I was, and am, angry about that. Why should I pay someone else’s student loans when we had to scrimp, save, and borrow to send our kids to school? There were student borrowers whose families are well off who got their loans forgiven too. It wasn’t just poor people. I think this issue helped contribute to the Democrats getting destroyed in November, among other issues of course.
