Did PL on and off for 4 years with minimal success but learned Amazon inside and out.
Did RA for 6 months.
Realized driving to stores is a low value activity and went exclusively OA. Scaled to 500k.

Getting in the dangerous goods program and sending in hazmat stuff FBA is a cheat code. Tons of listings where you'll be the only FBA seller, or one of a handful, and can increase the buy box by $5.

Met with a local brand today doing abt 35k in rev a month on amazon. Run by a husband and wife team. They let amazon fall off and don't have the bandwith to give it the attention it needs. They're open to an exclusive partnership and we're doing a test run.
This is the way

Missed 100k by a few hundred in October. Super annoying haha
Anticipating a much larger month in November. Got 50k of PO's inbound to prep centers and Amazon + our normal OA spend.
Pushing for 200k-300k in December.
In 2023 we spent over $500,000 on inventory. In 2024 we'll spend close to 2x that.

Just called seller support 3 times.
The first time no one was there.
The second time I got transferred and the call dropped.

What you need to run up Ms on Amazon.
3-5 solid brand connections
A prep center
A lean software stack
(Keepa, SellerAmp, SellerSnap, Quickbooks)
50k-70k in workng capital
A VA team if you wanna outsource some work
That's it.
Start hammering the phones and calling brands.
Don't focus on sales.
Focus on activities that generate sales.

When I stopped checking sales every 2 min, and focused on these, sales went ⬆ and my stress went ⬇
Some days you have a leaking pipe and mini flood in your workshop and have to set up a prep station outside. Good news is the problem is solvable, no product got damaged, and it's a beautiful day! Praise God! ☀

Yet that came with bigger problems than ever.
A 20k PO from a supplier got delayed a month... Brutal on cash flow.
Blocked and almost OOS on top sellings ASIN's...

Tons happened in Q1. Did not hit our goals. But excited about the foundations we've laid and the lessons learned. We're going to break our records in Q2.
Here are a few things that have gone wrong recently.
A retailer shorted us $1600 of inventory
USPS lost a $1530 shipment of hazmat products
Amazon termporarily suspended our ability to create FBA shipments (this is now fixed, amz was in the wrong)
