Actually had that happen at a doctor appointment one day. Was a late afternoon appointment and after having my vitals taken, was told "doctor will be in to see you in a moment", I waited till nearly 5:00pm and opened the door and stood in the doorway and someone walked by and said "I'm sorry, we forgot you were in there", lol
