Honestly I haven't seen the movie yet but I LOVE the artstyle, I just really love the variance and sheer character they all wear on their sleeves!
This is beautiful work!
After April and Splinter I worked on populating NYC. Again the main note was "specificity", to make characters that covered the spectrum of diversity of NYC, we looked especially at Alphabet city and MidTown.

I mean, Rika had ABSURD CE reserves as well (I think it's still larger than Yuta's currently) so on that scale it's not fully out of the realm to say that she's not in the same ballpark as those two.
Frankly the reason I don't see her beating them is lack of technique, not gas.

Makes sense TBH, Reze was a foreign asset and having her cut up and on ice is good for PS both as a bargaining chip with the Soviets as well as keeping other hybrids on lockdown.
I doubt she or Denji'll be DEAD dead when the process is done, just something debatably worse.

Something I find really interesting is how most of the cast in jjk absolutely loves fighting.
There's only like one exception I can think of off the top of my head and that's Yuta who's special all things given.
Everyone else even the reserved ones LOVE this shit.

It's very funny how Gojo and Sukuna are basically Raid Bosses in a setting full of only DPS guys, and Miguel is the only Tank.
Honestly I wouldn't be shocked if some more rope was made in the downtime, but any showing of Miguel's CT will be AWESOME I'm sure.

The second one seems to generally be as simple as "I don't want to go back to hell yet." And possessing a body can help with that, I imagine since Devils are concepts they probably don't care about Individuality the same as humans do, they'll have no memory but still be themself.

Fire Punch is different because it really had nowhere to go after Togata died and Fujimoto had to redo the course entirely (I stand it has good moments but doesn't fit as a whole ending), while CSM definitely still had a movement of story with Makima.

I wanna point out this episode was totally fucked over by schedule and in SPITE OF that is one of my favorites on visuals alone.
It's a fucking FEAT of animation, editing and directing and I hope everyone on this episode never has to go through something like that again.

Like Asa is paralleling him in some key ways that I find very interesting.

I think what makes it hit so hard is because he's been totally nonviolent the whole arc, it felt like he was undercut as a threat.
Mainly through his interactions with Denji and how pressed he got, it sorta makes you forget that he's REALLY good at his job.
