Day 7 Data Recap HW3 | Model 3 | 12.6.3 Chill Mode Day 1 - Cycle 2 4,067 km (2,528 miles) Cumulative Saturday/Sunday were non-workdays so we're back at it with yesterday's performance on Chill Mode. 90% Success Rate We continue to hold at that seemingly stubborn 90% threshold after a rather alarming failure where Mew did not recognized a new stop sign in a construction zone in Poinciana forcing me to take over to make the proper stop. It looks like they're in the process of making that intersection a traffic light. I seem to be skilled at finding these edge cases, but it's really just the breadth of my driving. Success by Distance 83% Success (< 10 km) 93% Success (10-30 km) 93% Success (> 30 km) While short and medium trips are still ticking upwards, the one failure broke the perfect record of long trips bringing from 100% down to 93%. Disengagements Chill Mode has restored some upward performance to our critical/non-critical interventions. 12.6.3 Overview I've predicted Chill Mode will outperform the other two, but the current gap with which it is outperforming Standard and Hurry is pretty wild. I'm curious where Chill will land after today and if Standard will have a chance to close that gap at all. Right now Chill Mode appears to be King. Summary We're nearing the 50 trip mark and are working through the second cycle of Mode testing which is awesome. I hope to complete all modes in cycle 2 before any updates come through, but I am excited for future updates. @eliasmrtnz1 @Tesla_AI @aelluswamy @ArekSredzki
Day 6 Data Recap HW3 | Model 3 | 12.6.3 Hurry Mode Day 2 2,787 km (1,732 miles) Cumulative 90% Success Rate We've officially passed 12.6.2 in trip volume and are holding at 90%. Unfortunately we were also introduced to our 3rd trip failure preventing the system from breaking through this 90% barrier. It was another simple issue with turning a street too early that would have put the customer behind a warehouse rather than their actual destination. Trip caught on camera, videos coming soon. Success by Distance 80% Success (< 10 km) 90% Success (10-30 km) 100% Success (> 30 km) Disengagements In addition to the failed customer trip, I'm disappointed to report that I did have an additional critical disengagement involving a traffic light. Attempted to proceed through a red light when leaving the Tesla Supercharger at: CR 512 Sebastian, FL Next time I'm over there, I'll see if it was a one off or repeatable issue. We were initially stopped just fine, but as the opposing traffic's green lights kicked on, Mew seemed to think ours had too when they were very much still red. I had to stop him from proceeding. 12.6.3 Overview Not much is different with regard to the overview of this build aside from the additional distance covered and disengagements logged. Performance across builds is holding consistent as of now. Summary Today we begin cycle 2 of the mode rotation, returning to Chill Mode. Many of you may also be happy to hear that today is also my appointment to finally get that cracked windshield swapped out. It may be a little too early to say, but I think we're narrowing in on our performance equilibrium for 12.6.3. That is to say that I don't imagine too much volatility in the data as it all levels out for this patch. @eliasmrtnz1 @Tesla_AI @aelluswamy @ArekSredzki

I'm curious of the results for sure. I'm not surprised calibration helped on yours given the replaced windshield which would warrant a recalibration since the camera housing was moved around with that process. I'd doubt calibration would be necessary or yield a difference on your moms. I'm sure cleaning the housing would for sure, but not so much the calibration unless the camera's were moved or replaced.
