FYI, highways around Regina are still terrible. Check the highway hotline, and see what is open and what is closed. Highway 1 from Regina to Mortlach is closed. Lots of cars in the ditch. @SKGovHwyHotline @reginapolice @RCMPSK

If an emergency vehicle has a street, lane or highway blocked off and especially if their emergency equipment and lights are on, please don't try and go around them. They are there for a reason. Be patient and find another route. @reginapolice @Regina_Fire

Looks like we might be getting some warmer temperatures. Now is a good time to top up your windshield washer fluid and check your wipers. @reginapolice

Seeing this a lot, when you put larger, heavier tires than the stock ones on your vehicle, it throws out your speedometer. If you do these modifications, you should get your speedometer recalibrated. It can throw out your speed by 7-10km/hr or more. @SGItweets @reginapolice

@Lmph364672 I am definitely no expert on this subject, and will never say I am. I guess I would also look at what you consumed. Was it a joint, was it 2, was it oil, was it 1 gummy or multiple. Get what I am putting down? There is no magic waiting number.

@XxTrevorPhilips @reginapolice @SGItweets The roadside device tests oral fluid, not blood. The device is set to detect at a higher limit, so if you get a fail, it's because it's a definite fail. Does that make sense?

@reginapolice @SGItweets I should clarify on this post. The test will give you a pass/fail. To determine if you are impaired, we would get a DRE to do a test. As for having it in your system, it would be recent consumption, which is always open to interpretation.

It's frigid cold today. If you are doing any long distance driving, make sure you have a full tank of gas , dress warm, bring blankets and maybe get some of those hot paws and hot feet warmers to have in your car. You never know when your car says, "Nope, not working today."
