I need someone to explain this to me please. Since I was 16, I've lived in 6 countries. None of them, NONE, pay for a losing party leader to live rent free+millions in perks on top of the high salary. Why does Canada do this? It's such a waste. The opposition leader is just an MP.

Griffyn update: she's doing well. The meds are doing great. Her vitals are all normal! No more vomiting. No diarrhea. But she's not eating so they recommended at least one more night they've given her an eating stimulant and hoping that will work. Please keep sending her love!

I'm off to Ireland for my phd graduation. I'm 1 of 3 on the first leg in a mask. Only 2 of us in FFP3/KN95. There's a woman who looks like death and coughing. Boarding but no mask. This is why recommendations are not acceptable or sufficient.

I really don't deserve my puppy. She's amazing. After 9 days in hospital and nearly dying, want to know what she wants to do? . She's so weak and has lost most of her muscle strength in her hind legs so keeps falling over and all she wants is to play and see people. ❤️❤️.

As a person who's a victim's family member of a reckless driver, this is not right. He'd never have been convicted of what he pleaded to. It was a horrific accident. But it was an accident. The man that murdered my mom with his car had 3 serious accidents in less than 3 years. .
I feel very badly for the families involved and my sympathies go out to them, but this sure doesn’t feel like justice or the right thing at all

I'm really devastated. I was puppy/dog sitting with my puppy. My friend's puppy got very sick suddenly. Turns out it's parvo & my puppy isn't old enough to have all her shots yet. I'm so gutted. The stats are not great. Send love to my puppy & my friend's please. I can't lose her.

She's alive!! She's fighting. Vet told me this morning she was very much expecting her not to make it through the night (I felt the same). She's still really really bad but she didn't decline overnight and she's ever so slightly more alert. We're not out of the woods by any means.

A year ago today I successfully defended my PhD. Since then, I moved back home from Ireland, said goodbye to all my Irish friends, started a post doc, bought a condo, became a dog guardian, went to my grad. I'm so tired. It's been one of the best & most difficult years of my life

My Dad is a kind soul. He knew I'm maxed restarting again in Canada. So he bought me a new tv so I'd have something to do at night and on weekends. Got a good deal on a very nice tv. I video called him once we got it home and he said "wow it's bigger than mine" 🤣.

He'd refuse to obey the court order. The school lawyer asked the judge to let him reconsider for 10 min. He then refused and said he'd not follow the court order. Judge said fine contempt of court and jailed him. He was not punished for not using pronouns (tho he should).

Since arriving in Saskatoon, and even before, I've been overwhelmed with the kindness of colleagues and strangers and friends. Tonight, three new friends (just met 2 of them today) and the other earlier this week helped me move in so o can actually live in my apt!!! ❤️❤️.

So spent last 5.5 years in Ireland for my PhD. Hadn't left 🇮🇪 since March 2020 and not in 🇨🇦 since Jan 2019 before moving home due to covid. What's interesting? Others speaking around me all the time with a 🇨🇦 accent! Realized I'd gotten so used to only hearing an Irish accent ❤️.

#Griffyn update. I just walked into they saw me and gave a quick update. She's perkier. Hadn't regurgitated all night nor with palpitations. But then they stood her up and she regurgitated a bit which isn't the best sign still. I'll get a full update later. She can stand a bit.

Happy Thanksgiving! This is a mixed holiday for me because 32 years ago on Thanksgiving weekend (then Oct 12) my family and friends were devastated when my Mom was murdered by a serial reckless driver. I'll post more on the anniversary. Drive safe. Love hard. Enjoy in her honour.
