Happy Super Bowl Sunday! We're excited for a great game, but we're really excited for the city of New Orleans, and the benefit they'll see from the economic impact of the game. Restrictions on interchange fees will lead to economic declines and job losses. CSI estimates that passing a law in Colorado similar to Illinois' Interchange Fee Prohibition Act (IFPA) would result in a 5.5% reduction in the state's cumulative job growth over the next five years, with employment in the retail sector experiencing a 75.9% reduction in employment growth by year five.
