There was nothing divine about slavery in America. But what the Lord did to Egypt and Pharaoh? Now, that was divine. He didn’t tell the Israelites to be ‘grateful’ for their oppression—He sent Moses to demand their freedom. And when Pharaoh refused, God didn’t call it a blessing—He wiped out their crops, darkened their skies, struck their firstborn, and brought an empire to its knees until His people were free. We need more men like Moses—men who defy tyranny—not cowards who submit to it and worship their oppressors as if they are God.
