People saying the original The Crow wasn’t a good movie, no one fell in love with this film because of great acting or whatever, it was the aesthetic, the gothic love story, Brandon Lee being so iconic then literally dying, the soundtrack, it embodied the 90’s so perfectly

A lot of scene artists look at the success of Boy Harsher and think, that’s simple enough I can do that too, but they fail to realise so many things about that band that made them big and a lot of it was timing (they did that vibe first) and her vocal TONE… etc

I often think of my patients who died during surgery, having to prep them for the morgue, deliver them, their families crying in the hallway, the fragility of life, the energy leaving the room as they passed, the team covered in blood. It’s a lot. Anyway I make goth music now.

What I’m saying is their music seems simple but it’s actually quite perfect, world class synths and aesthetics, sensuality delivered, thrilling, nostalgic yet new, that’s very hard to replicate they also spare no expense with mixing/mastering because it’s 🙌🏼
