A happy moment from the

when we were able to release a marmot rescued from the fire. It was taken to Greenwood Wildlife Rehab Center right before they evacuated. We were able to take it to a safe space in the wild.
Give the marmot a second to leave its bed plz

operations. Paddleboarding and kayaking are allowed staying 10-15 feet from shore. The park is open to other recreation.

Fun fact: The boreal toad is CO's only alpine species of toad and can be found in mountain lakes, ponds, and meadows between 8,500 ft. and 11,500 ft.

😺 Anyone up for a wildlife rehab success story today?
Check out this young mountain lion that spent a few months at our Frisco Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Del Norte.
It was found emaciated outside Naturita this spring, weighing only 29 pounds when it got to rehab.
